Course Description

At Delta Alpha Aviation we offer the best solution for future airline pilots.

Instrument Rating is the first important milestone towards a professional pilot qualification, and also a great development step for a hobby pilot. As Delta Alpha Aviation Training is an airline-oriented pilot school, it is crutial that our students get the very best IFR training they can get, since they will use this knowledge their whole aviation career. The goal of this training is to teach our students to plan and complete their flights and to teach how to communicate with the ATC in English language at major airports in regulations with the Instrument Flight Rules.

At Delta Alpha Aviation all training flights are conducted from our base airport and we use various IFR certified airports in the country and outside of Hungary like civilian international airports suitable for both precision and non-precision approaches.

The authority practical exam will cover the training objective in a 2 hours exam flight: departure, en-route and approach IFR navigation, holding patterns, precision and non-precision approaches and go-arounds.

Course Requirements

• - Valid EASA PPL license or higher with valid SEP rating
• - ICAO Aviation English level 4 or higher or equivalent language exam
• - Valid EASA medical class 2 with “IR Checked” or higher
• - NVFR if the IR privileges will be used at night
• - Minimum 50 hours PIC VFR cross country time
• - Completed IR(A), CPL(A) or ATPL(A) theoretical course

Course Structure

• - 50 hours total time
• - 30 hours dual flight time with instructor
• - 20 hours Simulator with instructor
