Course Description
At Delta Alpha Aviation we offer the best solution for future airline pilots.
The Multi Engine Piston Instrument Rating is one of the last training of the airline Course
and it is one of the most important one. This course is a mandatory requirement for application
for pilot jobs at airlines. This course upgrades your sep IR and MEP CR ratings to be able
to fly with a multi engine aircraft in Instrument Conditions.
During the training you will learn to fly multi engine aircraft in Instrument
Conditions. This includes holding patterns, precision and non-precision approaches
in normal and in single-engine conditions as well.
The course consists of 5 hours flight training. After completing the
course, you will need to pass a 2 hours long practical exam flight.
Just like the MEP CR couse, completing this course takes an average
1-2 weeks in good weather conditions.
Course Requirements

- ICAO Aviation English level 4 or higher or English Proficiency endorsement in the license

- Valid EASA medical class 2 with “IR Checked” or higher

- 70 hours PIC time of which 50 VFR CC time

- NVFR if the IR privileges will be used at night

- Valid EASA PPL license or higher with valid SEP-IR and MEP-CR rating
